So clearly, there’s a lot to digest here in terms of good points; however, what about the other aspect of Ascentis?
• The practical use of hiring tools here appears complex and irrational at times
• Generally, it lacks basic ergonomics such as expandable windows or a zoom feature to make certain details on-screen easier to read. Have we reentered the 80s again?!
• Lack of customer & technical support for users from Ascentis’s side: often reported to take several weeks after posting multiple reminders to resolve an issue. Not good.
• Remote desktop users will be faced with the hassle of storage limitations impeding their attachment uploads…and then needing to figure out what went missing. Unimpressed.
In conclusion, then, Ascentis being tenured in this industry & offering many innovative options does stand tall with its concepts. Sadly, more often than not, that is also where it remains: at the design stage. The implementation of these features is fidgety, to say the least, and further user integrated development, feedback, and patching are required. Then only perhaps Ascentis will fulfill its legacy in full.

Ascentis is a specific Human Resources online platform
I appreciate how comprehensive it is - I\'m happy that it handles our taxes as well as manages data flow to our benefits carriers through Carrier Connect.
Pro
I think it is a great system to use for the most part, everything is easy to understand once you get used to how things work.
Cons
I did not handle payroll but our payroll specialist said it was missing features our old basic software could handle such as different pay rates for employees who work different shifts

Not Impressed with Ascentis
I recently tried Ascentis and was not impressed. The user interface was not intuitive and I found it difficult to navigate. The customer service was also lacking. I tried to ask a few questions and got no response. The pricing is also quite high for what you get. I found better solutions for lower prices. Overall, I would not recommend Ascentis.
