Unfortunately, there are some issues, including incompatibility with MAC environments, restrictive freestyle drawing (warranting fixed object placement instead of real sketching) & limited functionality on their free version. Apart from the former & latter concerns (presuming that you’re not a MAC user), the operability does cast doubt over XMind’s flexibility & versatility to deliver results in what should be an open as well as unlimited platform. For this reason, it’s probably best to explore other options prior to arriving at any conclusion.

Not worth the money
I recently purchased XMind and I was really disappointed. The user interface is confusing and hard to navigate. The features are limited and not as comprehensive as other mind mapping software. The customer service is also not very helpful. I would not recommend this software to anyone looking for a comprehensive mind mapping tool. Overall, it's not worth the money.

Disappointing Experience with XMind
I recently tried XMind and was disappointed. It was difficult to use and I found the interface to be clunky and outdated. It lacked features I was looking for, such as the ability to customize themes and export to different formats. The customer service was also unhelpful. Overall, I wouldn't recommend XMind.
